September...oyster eating time again.

Today I went out to get some oysters for dinner.  They had really grown!  A few were deceased but not more than a handful.  Most were handful size, 4 inches or more.  I harvested a good three dozen for dinner.  We lightly roasted them then shucked them to preserve their juices.  They were just about the right degree of saltiness, delicious, plump and toothsome.
